Primary care encompasses Region Blekinge's health centers, rehabilitation services, youth clinics, and wound care centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities in the region, at several smaller locations, and sometimes in people's homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care facility where teamwork and patient needs are at the center. Samaritens Health Center has approximately 17,000 registered patients and participates in Healthcare Choice. We are approximately 60 employees in various professions working together. About the Job As a General Medicine Specialist at Samaritens Health Center, you will work broadly within general medicine with both acute and scheduled consultations. Samaritens Health Center is currently in a development phase where we are reviewing how we can improve our work methods. We want a modern health center where we work in teams to meet citizens' needs. We want to create a good work environment where we thrive and are satisfied with the work we do together. Do you want to be involved and participate in creating a workplace that will meet future healthcare needs? We work based on RAK, "right use of competence." We are also planning ahead to work in teams for better continuity and safety for patients and other staff. This makes it possible to be involved in planning and developing efficient and sustainable consultation work with varying tasks. We also intend to develop our digital healthcare meetings. If you have supervisor training, you will also have the opportunity to supervise students and trainee doctors within our activities, and you will be offered development opportunities regarding general medicine's future mission and operations. There is an opportunity to participate in continuing education activities, common for the entire region, approximately once a month. Other professional development is also prioritized at our workplace as well as internal training in various forms. We have various nurse-based specialist clinics including behavioral health, diabetes nurses, asthma/COPD nurses, incontinence nurses, elderly clinics, lifestyle clinics, and wound care nurses. Samaritens also has a rehabilitation coordinator. The health center has a branch with a doctor in Mörrum and a branch with child health services in Asarum. About You We are looking for you who want to work in primary care and be part of our wonderful team. We are looking for you who have Swedish medical licensure with specialist competence in general medicine. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good climate. If you have experience working at a health center, that is a good merit.
