Work as a personal assistant is highly varied, but regardless of the specific tasks, you will make a valuable difference for the person you are supporting. Your work hours vary based on the client's needs, ranging from 24-hour shifts, day-evening shifts, overnight shifts, and weekend work. Submit your CV and cover letter today. If you are selected to begin working with one of our clients, you will need to provide a criminal background check as part of your employment. There are two types depending on whether you will be working with child clients or adults over 18 years old. When working with children Work with children with disabilities is subject to background check requirements under the Act (2010:479) on background checks for staff providing services to children with disabilities.
