The Care and Social Services Department is now seeking interns for our various operations ahead of spring and summer 2026. 350 position(s). WORK TASKS Care work is varied and exciting work where you provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. We have several different operations that you can choose to work within: - Home care services - Nursing homes for elderly care - Short-term residential care/rehabilitation - Group homes and short-term residential care LSS - Social psychiatry - Customized support/personal assistance Your workday will consist of tasks that mainly involve providing support and service as well as care to our clients based on individual needs. This can include help with hygiene, medication management, meal preparation, and rehabilitation training. Through various activities, such as walks or outings, you help create joy and motivation for our clients. Work is performed sometimes together with your colleagues and sometimes alone. Working hours in the operations are scheduled for days, evenings and weekends, or nights and weekends. On-call services also occur in certain operations. Vacation periods during the summer are scheduled during June, July, and August. During this period, you have the opportunity to work according to a schedule. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education in care and nursing or another education that the employer considers equivalent. We would also like you to have experience working in care and nursing, but we warmly welcome you to apply even if you do not have experience. Since we are legally required to document our work, it is of great importance that you have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing; therefore, a language test is part of the recruitment process. There are also heavy work tasks which require good physical fitness. Within certain operations, a category B driver's license for manual transmission is also required. As a person, you are engaged, attentive, and empathetic. You enjoy meeting people and like collaborating with others. You are flexible and confident even when plans change, and you treat each person with respect and consideration. You follow care routines and laws and keep agreed-upon times. You communicate clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing, and adapt to the person you are talking to. We are a safe and sustainable employer.
