For the summer we are looking for committed and responsible summer substitutes for our short-term residential home Björnen. The short-term activities offer children and young people with disabilities a safe and stimulating environment where they have the opportunity for community, activities and environmental change based on their individual needs and interests. At the same time, the activities provide important support and relief for their families. With us you get varied and rewarding work where you together with colleagues contribute to creating a safe, fun and developmental summer for our children and young people. Work Tasks As a summer substitute you work closely with children and young people and support them in their daily lives during their stay at the short-term residential home. You help create structure, security and meaningful leisure time through activities, social interaction and individually adapted support. Work tasks include: Supporting children and young people in daily situations and care. Planning and implementing activities based on the individual's needs and interests. Contributing to a safe, comfortable and developmental environment. Documenting according to the facility's procedures. Collaborating with colleagues and contacting guardians as needed. The work is carried out both independently and together with other employees. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has an interest in working with children and young people with disabilities. Is secure, responsible and has respectful conduct. Has good collaboration skills, can create structure and adapt your support based on the individual's needs. Can express yourself well in Swedish both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have education, ongoing studies or experience within care, support services, pedagogy or support for people with disabilities. We would also like to see that you have experience working with children and young people and/or people with disabilities. Knowledge of NPF, communication support and low-arousal approaches as well as experience in LSS activities or care work is also an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The work requires patience, flexibility and the ability to handle situations that can be both physically and emotionally challenging.
