Workplace Description Salem Municipality's home care service is organized within the Elderly Care and Social Services Department. The home care service has extensive experience in healthcare and care work and is divided into three geographic teams. We provide service and care around the clock, every day of the year. You will work with a team that puts the customer at the center of everything we do. Our goal is to provide each customer with individualized, high-quality service and care. We are now recruiting several new team members to strengthen our workforce. Job Description As a care worker, you will perform care and support work in clients' homes. You will work with person-centered care and documentation. You will perform delegated healthcare and nursing tasks. Your work will be based on care plans created in consultation with the client. Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are also included. Your work should be carried out from a salutogenic approach. Physically demanding transfers may occur in the work and require good physical ability. It is therefore very important that you take responsibility for your own health. A calm and stable personality is also required since the work involves meeting with people who are seriously ill. Qualifications We want you to have experience in care or healthcare. You need good computer skills to meet documentation requirements. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required. It is advantageous if you have nursing assistant certification or other healthcare training. Experience from home care services and a valid driver's license are advantageous. Employment Terms We are looking for someone who wants to work with us on a schedule during the summer, with the possibility of continuing work as a temporary hourly staff member after the vacation period.
