Our residential facility serves people in LSS personal group 1 (section 9:9), which includes people with intellectual disabilities, autism or autism-like conditions with a focus on comorbidity or additional psychiatric diagnoses. We are now looking for summer interns who want to become part of our team – with the possibility of extension! We would love to have you start already in the spring as a part-time temporary employee, to get to know our clients and operations. About the Summer Intern Role at Unika At Unika, you will work to provide a meaningful and predictable daily life with plenty of structure for those living with us. We work goal-oriented based on the mission plan, maintain a professional and salutogenic approach and working method while operating within the organization's resources and budget. We adapt our work based on each individual's circumstances and needs, with the starting point being each person's individual implementation plan. Our goal is for our users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in using their own resources to develop and achieve good quality of life. Our working approach includes a low-affective manner and clarifying pedagogy. Qualifications Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience working within LSS or care and welfare services. Driver's license (Category B). Secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and welfare program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Advantageous if you also have Experience with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and low-affective interaction. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Terms Type of Employment: Fixed-term contract/Part-time hourly position. Degree: We have both full and part-time positions available as needed. Working Hours: Rotating schedule, day, evening, weekends & overnight shifts may occur. Start Date: By mutual agreement; we view it positively if you can start soon.
