Description For the summer, we are seeking people interested in working full-time or part-time, for the entire summer or parts of it, at the municipality's residential care facilities and short-term housing. We need summer substitutes between weeks 25-32, possibly longer. Orientation will take place before the assignment starts. Recruitment is ongoing through this posting. We will also hold an open house on April 21 at Folkets House, Lilla Galejan from 2-5 PM where the various facilities will be present to provide information and answer questions. Job Responsibilities We are seeking holiday substitutes for our residential care facilities: Sjögläntan Humlegården Here is some information about the position: As staff at a residential care facility, your tasks include supporting daily activities with social interaction and activities, assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, cleaning/laundry, documentation, medication management, and other delegated tasks from the nurse. There will be an opportunity to work the entire summer or part of the summer. We offer work during day/evening, night, and weekends. Qualifications We are looking for someone with care education or experience from care work, or other experience that the employer deems relevant. You must be at least 18 years old and have a command of Swedish sufficient to communicate with residents and colleagues, as well as to document what the activities require. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. For the role, we see that you are social, attentive, able to work independently and in a team. You should place the client's needs at the center and demonstrate professional conduct toward residents, family members, and colleagues. Other Information Work is scheduled for day/evening/night and weekends. For the interview, please bring identification, information on references, and if necessary, a work permit. Background Check To work in close proximity with residents and patients, you must submit a background check from the police's criminal register. You should request the report yourself from the Swedish Police Authority using the form "Extract from the Criminal Register" in the form archive on the police website.
