We are now looking for you to join our wonderful team this summer and work as a personal assistant for our male client in Torhamn. (Driver's license is a requirement) What does this position involve? Working with a client with autism where structure, clarity, and a calm approach are important. Work Methods - TBA, low-arousal approach Job Responsibilities Support with daily activities, such as household chores, routines, and activities Personal care Helping to create and maintain structure throughout the day Accompanying the client on errands and activities outside the home Communication using PECS pictures, handheld devices Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We appreciate if you have great patience and the ability to be personable while acting professionally. You are calm, patient, and attentive Communicate clearly and directly using communication aids (pictures + speech) Respect the need for routines and predictability Preferably have experience with autism (but it is not a requirement) Are flexible and solution-oriented Have good physical health We would like you to: Have a genuine interest in helping others Be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish Be able to work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekends. The position also requires the ability to work nights Have a Category B driver's license and a car Other Information Employment Type: Hourly temporary work now, plus summer temporary position June-August with possibility of extension Scope: June-August approximately 90% Work Hours: 09.00-20.00, 20.00-09.00, 10.00-16.00 Start Date: Immediately We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
