Description We are looking for someone interested in working with people in need of support and who wants to make a difference. Vännäs municipality offers a workplace where you are involved in meaningful work. You will get a job that is varied, developmental, and educational. We offer you work throughout the summer, parts of the summer, or as a temporary staff member during other periods of the year. You can work in elderly care (nursing homes, short-term care, or home care) or support services (group homes or personal assistance). The work is scheduled during day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. Working in elderly care involves independent work with elderly people who need support in daily life. We are looking for someone who wants to support elderly people in their own homes or in a care facility. The elderly's integrity, security, and well-being will be the focus of your work. Work in support services involves working with people who have a functional disability and need support in daily life, either in their own home (personal assistance) or in a group home. The focus of the work is to give users the opportunity to live an independent life. Work Tasks Common work tasks include support/assistance with Personal care Personal hygiene Meals Social interaction Administering medication Qualifications To work in healthcare and social services, you need good knowledge of the Swedish language. Knowledge in both speech and writing is required to be able to perform care documentation, receive medication delegation, and communicate with service users. It is advantageous if you have studied or are studying in a healthcare and social care program, or alternatively have other education with a focus on care or social work work experience in support and care. Your personal suitability is important, and we want you to be responsible, reliable, and responsive. It is very important that you treat service users with respect and that you take into account their individual needs and wishes. Summer Bonus CONDITIONS • To be eligible for the bonus, you must work at least 4 consecutive weeks during the period 260615–260823. • The employee must work at least 75% during the specified period for the bonus to be paid. BONUS • The summer bonus amounts to 750 kr/week. • Temporarily employed age-pensioners within the specified occupation group are compensated with an additional 25% on top of the bonus supplement and hourly wage. When bonus is not paid You receive a bonus for each complete planned schedule week you have worked. This means that if you are absent due to childcare and/or illness on at least one (1) occasion during a work week, you will not receive a bonus for that week. Extract from the Criminal Record Before a job offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be provided.
