We are now seeking a social worker who wants to help develop early, flexible, and coordinated work with children and young people. The position is placed in an interdisciplinary team where social workers collaborate closely with counselors, SIG coordinators, and other important actors around the young person and family. The work is characterized by close collaboration from the beginning of the investigation process. In our operations, we believe in early interventions and being able to quickly meet young people and families where their needs exist. This means that counselors and SIG coordinators are involved early in the investigation and that support measures can begin before the investigation is completed. As a social worker, you are responsible for investigating children's and young people's need for support and protection according to the Social Services Act and following up on approved measures. At the same time, you work closely with counselors and SIG coordinators in the practical change work around the young person. The role involves active collaboration work with, among others, schools, police, guardians, and other external actors. We are looking for you who: - Have a degree in social work or equivalent education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment - Have experience in authority work with children and young people - Have experience and competence in systemic approaches - Have experience in treatment work with the target group - Are confident in your professional role and accustomed to working independently - Have good collaboration skills and enjoy teamwork - Are flexible and solution-focused It is meritorious if you have experience with: - Work with young people at risk of norm-breaking behavior - SIG/SSPF work or other collaboration structures - Crime prevention work - Signs of Safety or other structured working methods We offer: Upplands-Bro Municipality has the advantages of a small municipality, including short decision-making processes and great opportunity to be involved in the development of the work.
