Description Arjeplog Municipality is one of Sweden's smallest by population and one of Sweden's largest by area. This means certain differences compared to larger municipalities. Among other things, you work as a social worker with all types of cases within the responsibility area of individual and family services, authority functions in children and youth, adults, risk use and addiction, financial assistance, family law and domestic violence. Reception phone duties and certain implementation tasks, such as advisory and support meetings and parental support, are also included. With us, you get a varied, challenging and fun job. Within individual and family services, we have 2 social workers, 1 case handler and 0.5 unit manager. Additionally, 2 benefit administrators, SoL and LSS, are included in the work group. Since one of our social workers will be working in a project within the municipality, we are now looking for a social worker with a degree in social work. It is a very varied job where continuous learning is part of it. We are a small group that works closely together, helps each other with cases and places great emphasis on dialogue with each other. According to the new Social Services Act's intentions, we work to become even more accessible and preventive, for example through advisory and support meetings without prior investigation/decision and close collaboration with schools, guardians and students. In our small municipality, there is close proximity to collaboration partners such as schools/student health services, police, health centers and external partners such as the church. We work together with great commitment to create the best possible conditions for residents. Work is conducted according to the Social Services Act, LVU, LVM and other applicable legislation. You are responsible, based on delegation, for legally compliant handling and decisions in individual cases and for ensuring that established guidelines and procedures are followed. As a member of our team, you will sometimes be asked to inform about our operations, both internally and externally. Qualifications To ensure handling of child and youth cases, only you with a social work degree can be considered for the position. You need to have experience with authority functions within some part of individual and family services, that is, financial assistance, children and youth, adults, risk use and addiction and/or family law. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation. You have documentation experience and can express yourself well in speech and writing. You need to be organized and flexible, solution-focused and have good cooperation skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Other Information Start date as soon as possible, by agreement Duration until and including August 31, 2027 with possible extension Employment level full-time Before a potential employment, you need to provide an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register. The position includes on-call duty according to a rotating schedule. We use continuous recruitment, which means the temporary position may be filled before the final application deadline, so don't delay your application! Arjeplog Municipality has decided on a salary bonus for the individual hired as a temporary worker in a shortage occupation with the appropriate qualifications for the profession. Social worker is a current shortage occupation. Bonus is paid out for those who receive a temporary position of at least 6 months. Temporary bonus is calculated based on the same principle as salary bonus and is paid out in 6-month intervals. If the temporary position becomes a permanent position, the bonus form converts to salary bonus. The maximum temporary bonus should not exceed the maximum amount paid as salary bonus. To receive this bonus, you must be registered in Arjeplog Municipality during the employment period. The salary bonus is paid when employment exceeds: 6 months with 7,500 kr, 12 months with 7,500 kr and 18 months with 11,250 kr. The amounts above correspond to full-time. Also opportunity to apply for a relocation bonus, which means that those with adequate education who get a job in a shortage occupation and register in Arjeplog can receive a bonus. Maximum 30,000 kr after verified documentation. The bonus is in relation to your employment level.
