The Individual and Family Department at Tjörn Municipality is responsible for support and services to children, young people, and adults as well as financial assistance, labor market initiatives, and integration. The department is characterized by close collaboration between units, where authority and open care work side by side. The Children and Youth Unit consists of reception, investigative social secretaries, child secretaries, foster care secretaries, and family therapists. There is strong commitment to children's rights, legally sound case management, and early, evidence-based interventions. The Social Office is centrally located at Tjörn in Kållekärr, with good bus connections – and if you commute by car, you're traveling against traffic, meaning fewer traffic jams and a smoother day. 1 position(s). DUTIES As an investigative social secretary, you work with investigating support needs for children and young people and their families based on incoming applications and reports. Your tasks include: • Investigate support needs in accordance with current legislation and guidelines • Handle cases according to SoL and LVU • Contribute to capturing families' own resources and solutions • Collaborate with internal and external actors • Document according to legislation and established procedures Work is conducted in close collaboration within the unit and with other operations to create the best possible support for those we serve. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Have a degree as a social worker (socionom) • Have experience with authority and administration within children and youth (meritorious) • Have knowledge of current legislation (SoL and LVU) • Have knowledge of BBIC • Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing • It is meritorious if you have a few years of experience in the field. As a person, you are: • Responsible, flexible, and stable • Organized and confident in your professional role • Relationship-building with good collaboration skills • Have good conduct in focus and a professional approach in meeting with children, families, and collaboration partners • You contribute to a respectful way of working where the best interests of the child are always central. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is a requirement. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement.
