JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like a central role in an organization where you make a real difference for people in need of support? We are now seeking an engaged and confident social worker for our reception function. With us, you will be an important first point of contact within social services and receive a responsible assignment in public authority administration, where you meet people in different life situations. In this role, you will handle cases involving children and families, harmful substance use, financial assistance, and domestic violence, while also receiving applications and reports, conducting preliminary and safety assessments, and initiating investigations. You will also prepare statements and in some cases conduct application investigations. As part of a small team, you will have a varied and developmental role in an organization with a fast pace, close collaboration, and great opportunities to contribute to the continued development of the reception function within IFS. Right now, we are conducting several exciting development initiatives based on new legislation, and it is therefore important that you as an applicant are willing to be part of this change process. It is an exciting time where we renew and improve our working methods. The assignment also includes exciting and outward-facing collaboration where you have contact with, among others, police, schools, associations, and other stakeholders as you will be part of the first-line social services. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with both individuals and collaboration partners, be present in different contexts, and contribute to early interventions and coordinated support for those we meet. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are trained as a social worker or have other equivalent higher education, with experience in public authority administration and good knowledge of relevant legislation. Experience working within adult services, children and families, or substance abuse fields, as well as knowledge of BBIC or Signs of Safety is meritorious. The role suits you if you are responsible, solution-focused, and good at collaborating, while being able to independently make well-founded decisions even at a fast pace. You work in a structured, confident, and legally sound manner, have good documentation habits, and a professional demeanor that creates trust in meetings with those we serve. You take responsibility, work independently, and actively contribute to quality, development, and good workplace community. In the reception area, you will work closely with both colleagues and management in an organization where commitment, development, and collaboration are in focus. Here you will have the opportunity to make an impact and make a real difference. Would you like to be part of making a difference in people's everyday lives? We warmly welcome your application! We strive for a balanced gender distribution. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is a requirement. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent. Working hours: Daytime. The workplace offers a 35-hour work week and the opportunity for remote work 1 day/week. The filling of the position will be based on the information you provide, and it is therefore of utmost importance that you are careful when filling out your application. We see diversity as a strength and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds. We make active choices regarding job listing platforms, any support, and selection methods for each recruitment.
