JOB DUTIES You will be part of the investigation team with a senior social secretary as team leader who will support you in the process you are responsible for as a case handler. Our senior social secretary has extensive and solid experience in work with children and youth and is well-versed in our case management system. Work in the investigation team involves investigating the situation of children and youth and any need for support, as well as implementing approved measures, other decisions, and following up on interventions. Cases are handled in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), Care of Children Act (LVU), Youth Care Act (LUL), and Law on Care Likely to Hinder Child's Development (LSU). We work in close collaboration with the child/youth and their family, other departments at IFO, foster families, and external partners with the aim of meeting each individual child's/youth's needs in the best way possible. For one of our positions we are seeking you with a degree in social work (socionom) who has a particular interest in working with young people who risk, or have developed, substance abuse and/or criminal patterns. We want you to represent the authority's perspective in contact with the young person and their family and also have a genuine interest in collaboration and close cooperation with the young person's parents to strengthen them in their parental role, as well as be part of the cooperation that exists with schools, police, open care services, and other important actors in early intervention, such as SSPF and TSI. For our second position we are seeking a social worker (socionom) who ideally has several years of experience with investigation work involving children and youth. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has • Degree in social work (socionom) • Driver's license category B • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing To thrive in the role of social secretary, you appreciate that every day looks different. Meritorious qualifications include knowledge of BBIC, the case management system Combine, and experience with case handling. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
