Description We are in the startup phase of an integrated reception unit within Individual and Family Services and are therefore expanding our existing reception team. The work group will consist of five people, with one person serving as the team leader. We are now looking for you who has a degree in social work and several years of experience exercising authority within social services! You have experience in at least two of these three case handling areas: children/youth, financial support, adults. Work Tasks The reception unit is the social services' first line, and you are the first point of contact for children, young people, adults, and families seeking support. Here you are responsible for receiving, handling, and assessing reports and applications in socially complex situations, always with a focus on legal security, service quality, and professional conduct. The reception unit also has an advisory function for other operations and for the general public regarding matters concerning children and families, risk substance use, addiction, intimate partner violence, and financial support. The reception unit is an important part of social services' work. At the reception unit, you work closely together and share responsibility for the unit's work tasks. Qualifications Degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent Several years of experience exercising authority within social services and experience in at least two of these three case handling areas: children/youth, financial support, adults. Strong ability to structure your work, document correctly, and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. The work also requires that you can be flexible, manage rapid changes, and make decisions with confidence. Experience with BBIC, LVU, and Signs of Safety is meritorious, as is experience communicating with interpreters. We place great importance on personal suitability! You are confident in yourself, empathetic, and maintain a professional approach when meeting people in difficult life situations.
