As a social secretary/case officer, you have important work where you create value for people in your surroundings every day. The unit is part of the main unit for health and social care and belongs to the Individual and Family Care (IFO) department. Welcome to us! 1 position(s). DUTIES As a social secretary with a focus on elderly care, you work from a holistic perspective and meet service users with the aim of strengthening their own abilities and continued independence. Your main duties are to investigate and assess needs, follow up on the services you grant, and ensure that the services meet the individual's needs regarding home care, day activities, respite care, short-term stays, and special housing primarily for elderly persons. You handle matters within applicable legislation (the Social Services Act), current legal standards, and established guidelines. We work with continuous case management in groups. Case handling and documentation take place in the Life Care system. We use the IBIC model in our assessments to describe, evaluate, and follow up on the individual's needs. Your duties also include participation in network meetings, writing statements, responsibility for phone hours, and active participation in ongoing development work. The work requires legally sound case handling where you as a case officer must ensure that the applicant is involved and can express their views. You work closely with the individual, relatives, service providers, colleagues, and other professionals and authorities. The work is focused on quality and legal security with the service user in focus. We offer you support structures in the form of an introduction program, mentorship, unit meetings, peer supervision, external supervision, basic and targeted training initiatives, as well as wellness hours/wellness allowance. With us, you become an important person! QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. It is considered meritorious if you have previous experience working within social services. You have an interest in working with people in different life stages. You are independent, have good collaboration skills, are responsible, and have the ability to create trusting meetings. As a person, you are accustomed to taking personal responsibility for your workday, planning and completing your tasks in a legally sound and efficient manner. Your duties require you to be flexible, see opportunities in changes, and be thorough. You can express yourself clearly and well-formulated in speech and writing. Social services in Sollefteå strive to work systemically, and you should have the ability to see and work from people's own strengths and resources. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is required. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Ongoing.
