Then this could be the position for you. We are now looking for a social secretary for the adult and income support group in Ljusnarsberg. We work closely with the individual with a focus on strengthening people's opportunities for self-sufficiency and long-term income security. About the Operation IFO in Ljusnarsberg Municipality is responsible for adult and income support, children and families, assistance for the elderly and people with disabilities, and employment services. The adult and income support group consists of three social secretaries and is led by a senior social secretary and a unit manager. As a small municipality, we have short decision-making processes and close collaboration between operations and professions. Responsibilities In this role, you will work with both public administration and motivating social work. You will follow the individual through the process from first contact to increased independence and self-sufficiency. The responsibilities include, among other things: process applications for financial assistance according to the Social Services Act assess the individual's needs, resources, and conditions for self-sufficiency make decisions according to delegation procedures work in a motivating and supportive manner with the individual collaborate with internal and external actors convene and participate in SIP and network meetings provide advice, support, and information to citizens document and conduct qualified investigations The position also includes handling estate notifications and matters related to funeral costs, personal funds, and provisional estate administration. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience with public administration within social services and good knowledge of relevant legislation, primarily the Social Services Act. It is an advantage if you have experience from multiple areas within individual and family care. The work requires you to work independently, make legally sound assessments, and handle varying cases. Since we are a small municipality, you also need to be flexible and appreciate collaboration with close colleagues and other operations.
