Social Worker, Self-Sufficiency Focus

Description:

Welcome to the Department of Work, Competence and Welfare (AKV), a workplace where you make a difference – every day. We are now seeking a social worker with a focus on self-sufficiency. If you become our colleague, you will be part of the Unit for Labor Market, Integration and Financial Assistance within the Self-Sufficiency process. Here, social workers, financial assistance case managers, and labor market support staff work together toward a common goal – to help more people achieve self-sufficiency. Our mission is clear: to support people toward sustainable self-sufficiency through work, studies, or other paths to increased independence. To succeed, we work based on the BIP model, where the individual's resources, motivation, and progression are at the center. We believe in people's capacity to develop and in the importance of professional, respectful, and solution-focused interaction. We are at the beginning of a major organizational change where we want to strengthen our focus on work toward self-sufficiency. Development work continues as new legal requirements emerge, including activity requirements. We are therefore looking for you to contribute with commitment, new perspectives, and an interest in operational development. Through digitalization and improved processes, we work to create more time for what matters most – meeting with people. With us, you get the opportunity to work closely with clients, follow progression over time, and be an important part of the work toward self-sufficiency. We recently moved into modern, activity-based offices in central Kristinehamn. As a staff member with us, you are offered, among other things, wellness benefits, team activities, and the opportunity for remote work agreements. For us, it is important that you feel comfortable and develop in your work. We place great emphasis on collaboration, respect, and good collegial support, with the conviction that we are each other's work environment and together create a workplace where people want to stay and grow. 1 position(s).
