Our adapted primary school is growing and we face an exciting development! This fall, we are opening a brand new facility – Agneberg School in Hanaskog. This means that the municipality will going forward have two adapted primary schools (grades 1–9) that work closely together, share experiences, and collaborate as a strong team: • Vita School in Knislinge: An established and well-functioning unit with good cohesion and solid expertise. • Agneberg School in Hanaskog: Our newly established unit where you get to shape the activities and learning environment from the start. We are now looking for you to be part of our development work! 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking staff for one placement each: one position at Vita School (focus on subjects) and one position at Agneberg School (focus on subject areas). Both positions are unique combined roles where you become a connecting thread in the student's day, moving between different settings during the day: • Educational Assistant (main part): You function as support for students in the classroom during the school day and are an active part of our after-school program in the afternoons. You support students based on their individual needs, help structure the day, and meet them in their care needs. • Social Pedagogue (designated time): You have certain hours per week dedicated to social pedagogical work. Here, you work more broadly and preventatively with safety initiatives, conflict management, and structured conversations with individual students or groups to strengthen the social environment. Since our two schools collaborate closely, there will also be room for experience sharing and collaboration between you and your social pedagogue colleague at the other school. You work closely with the class mentor, other team colleagues, the school's social team, and have a professional role in contact with guardians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have great commitment, see possibilities, and believe in diversity. You have a strong ability and confidence in switching between practical student support here and now, and broader social pedagogical work. Requirements for the positions: • Education as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or other post-secondary pedagogical/behavioral science education that the employer deems equivalent. • Experience working with low-arousal approaches. • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written). • Swimming proficiency Merits: • Experience working with students in adapted primary school (particularly meriting with experience in subjects or subject areas depending on which position you are matched to) and/or after-school programs. • Knowledge of TAKK (Sign as Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and visual supports.
