About the job Njurunda friskola is a F-9 school with an accompanying after-school program. The school is centrally located in Njurundabommen, approximately 2 miles south of Sundsvall. Njurunda friskola has been under its current ownership since 2012. Despite the school's growth over the years it has been in operation, we have maintained the feeling of our former "smallness" and here most people know each other well, both across grade levels and work teams. We see it as very important to create good relationships with our students. We are seeking a teacher qualified in crafts for grades 3-9. You naturally have good subject knowledge, but if you also feel that you are a good classroom leader who makes teaching both challenging and enjoyable, that would be ideal. You plan, implement, and evaluate your instruction together with the school's textile crafts teacher and other colleagues. In addition to this, you will be a mentor for a mixed-age group. The position is 50% full-time. The position can increase to more than 50% if you have qualifications in additional subjects such as music, home and consumer studies, and visual arts. We will conduct interviews on a rolling basis during the application period (until June 26).
