Welcome to join our student health team at our F-3 schools in the northern part of Vaggeryds Municipality. Hok School, Byarum School, and Bondstorp School are smaller schools in rural areas. Götafors School and Östra School are centrally located in Vaggeryd. In total, we have approximately 500 students in grades F-3. The Children's and Education Committee's area of operation includes preschools, primary schools, and Fenix Culture and Knowledge Center, which includes upper secondary school, upper secondary special education school, and adult education. We work purposefully to give every child and student knowledge and confidence in the future that can follow them through life. 1 position(s). 1 JOB DUTIES As a school nurse, you will primarily work with health promotion and prevention with our students so they can do well in school and in their future lives. You will be one of six school nurses in the municipality working in close collaboration and participating in joint network meetings. You will work with students in grades F-3 at several primary schools in the northern part of the municipality. You will be part of the school's student health team, which consists of the principal, school counselor, special education teacher, special education specialist, school psychologist, and school physician. The work in the student health team is led by the principal, and the group works closely together, where our different competencies and professions will benefit students' learning and well-being. We work at both group and individual levels. Our work also includes collaboration with, for example, Social Services and other actors such as Child and Youth Psychiatry and Habilitation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse (focused on children's health), or school nurse. You are trustworthy and enjoy working with children both individually and in groups. We expect you to work well with colleagues at our schools as well as with children and their guardians. You need to have a driver's license and access to a car. Experience in similar work is an advantage. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. An extract from the criminal records register is required upon employment. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Work hours: Daytime.
