You will receive a comprehensive introduction and work closely with an established student welfare team. Europaskolan Rogge is a non-profit primary and middle school with approximately 500 students in grades 4–9. This creates a stable work environment with excellent conditions to work systematically, follow up on interventions, and develop approaches over time. About the Position As a school counselor at Europaskolan Rogge, you hold a central role in the school's student welfare work. The role encompasses both direct work with students and structured, preventive work at the group and organizational level. You work in an organization where responsibility, routines, and working methods are clearly established – which reduces ad hoc work and creates space to focus on quality in your professional role. The position includes, among other things: conducting social assessments and mapping providing counseling support to students, both individually and in groups facilitating and leading conversations with guardians documenting, analyzing, and following up on cases providing guidance and support to educators and other staff At the same time, you have a clear responsibility in the school's collective work: contributing to preventive and promoting student welfare efforts working with safety, core values, and equal treatment handling and following up on harassment cases actively participating in student welfare teams, safety work, and attendance initiatives collaborating with external stakeholders such as social services, child and adolescent mental health services, and other networks You are part of the school as a whole – where student welfare works closely with the organization and where your role has real impact in daily life. Qualifications We are seeking someone with a solid foundation in your profession who wants to work both close to students and in a preventive manner. Requirements: Sociology degree (socionom examen) Experience working with children and youth Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Good documentation skills and a structured work approach Meritorious: Experience working as a school counselor Experience with collaboration with external stakeholders Experience with preventive student welfare work Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
