About the Position You will be employed on a fixed-term contract as a roaming consultant at Montico and hired out on assignment to Ovako or possibly hired directly by the client. The work is scheduled for 5-shift and 3-shift rotations. Job Description In your role as a mechanic at Ovako, you will work daily with tasks such as: - Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and renovations on Ovako's facilities in Boxholm - Troubleshoot by reading schematics, replace faulty components on hydraulic/pneumatic systems - Welding using various methods such as arc and MIG welding - Ensure the workshop's machines are in good condition, maintain order and cleanliness in your work area - Participate in projects as needed - Follow safety and housekeeping regulations, as well as their quality, environmental, and energy management systems - Maintain good communication with other staff - Work actively in the API maintenance system What We're Looking For You are a person who always puts safety first. We would prefer that you have a degree in mechanical engineering or automotive technology, or alternatively have previous experience in the field. You should have: - Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics - Welding skills - Forklift and overhead bridge crane certification - Basic computer skills Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing, as well as a driver's license and access to a car are requirements for this position.
