As a shift mechanic, you work independently and together with other maintenance personnel across all areas of the company. About the Position As a shift mechanic, you primarily work with emergency and preventive maintenance, as well as some planned maintenance work. You also participate in our 5S work, daily management, and create new routines and working methods to continuously improve operations. About You We are looking for someone with several years of experience in mechanical maintenance work within the manufacturing industry, preferably from the steel industry. Meritorious qualifications include knowledge of: Hydraulics/pneumatics Arc welding/MIG/MAG Machine processing turning/milling Pumps The position requires a valid B driver's license. A valid forklift and crane license as well as Hot Work certification are meritorius but not required. To feel comfortable in the role of shift mechanic with us, you need to be responsible, thorough, and take initiative, and be comfortable in situations where you interact with other people. Reporting occurs through shift handovers and to the maintenance coordinator. About the Employment The employment is a permanent, full-time position with hiring as soon as possible or according to agreement. Work hours are currently arranged in 3-shift operation.
