Our Operations This position is with Värmdö Municipality's two specialized residential facilities. Gustavsgården is a municipal residential care home in pleasant surroundings, centrally located in Gustavsberg. The facility consists of 101 apartments divided across 3 buildings/units and a total of 11 departments. The home includes units for both dementia and somatic patients. Operations are conducted with the individual's needs in focus, and we always strive for the best possible quality. We also collaborate with Nestor R&D Center, a research and development center for elderly care, and several other external partners to ensure quality and continuous improvement. Djuröhemmet is a municipal care and residential facility located in an archipelago setting on Djurö. It has 57 apartments, with 33 beds for residents with somatic illness and 24 beds for people with dementia. We work using modern methods through continuous skills development and welfare technology. We are close to our residents when they need us. Both our facilities are Silviahem certified, meaning all staff have completed basic dementia training. Our unit managers have received leadership training, and each department has staff trained in reflective leadership. Your Role As a nurse, you will work closely with the unit manager, responsible for health and medical care services in the unit. You will help develop work methods and processes based on clear roles and systematic quality management. You will participate in creating routines, managing incidents, and collaborating with the municipality's medical care coordination. The role includes typical nursing duties such as patient care responsibility, delegation, assessment, documentation, registration in quality registers, contact with family and physicians, and supervision of staff. You will work in a team with nursing assistants, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist, leading care staff. Work is scheduled during daytime hours with no weekends. Extension is possible. Your Background We seek a licensed nurse. You work independently and can prioritize your tasks. Communication, both verbal and written, is an important part of your role, so we expect strong communication skills and fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, and flexible with a genuine interest in people. We expect you to be skilled at building relationships, making connections, and maintaining close dialogue with others in the organization.
