About the role You are the hub around the residents' health and medical services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and educate care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this work you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in the daily work. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you to take is "Leading Without Being a Manager". We specialize in care for people with dementia and strive to create a safe and meaningful everyday life. Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we would like to see that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents often have multiple medical conditions and it requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging individuals. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
