We're looking for you to work in municipal primary care with a focus on special living facilities. We're seeking a nurse for the Municipal Primary Care unit to work within the special living team. You'll be part of a team with other nurses, as well as an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers, support staff, and other professionals surrounding the patient, with a focus on patient-safe and person-centered care. You'll have great opportunity to plan and structure your workday to work well for you, your patients, and your colleagues. You'll be the nursing care manager at one of our centrally located residences in Sunne. Our residences are centrally located within walking and cycling distance, but otherwise car travel is included. You'll work mainly daytime on weekdays and approximately every fifth weekend with flexible work hours. We offer individually tailored introduction, mentorship, and collegial supervision. We have varied, stimulating work with an open work climate where we support and help each other with challenging tasks. Job Responsibilities Your tasks include coordinating and ensuring that specific nursing interventions are planned, implemented, and evaluated, as well as training, supervising, and delegating to support staff. You'll conduct medical assessments, carry out specific nursing interventions, and work on health promotion and prevention. The work involves independently or together with colleagues planning and following up nursing interventions. Systems supporting our work include digital signature lists and the Life Care HSL journal system. Qualifications We're looking for you as a licensed nurse with engagement and interest in municipal primary care with a focus on elderly care and dementia. It's advantageous if you have worked with similar tasks previously. You may have specialist training as a district nurse, elderly care, or psychiatry. To succeed in this position, you work independently and take great personal responsibility in your profession and for planning and follow-up of health and medical care. You value teamwork highly and have a strong interest in working with frail elderly, dementia, and palliative care. As a person, you're stable and flexible, have high sense of responsibility, and can work both independently and in a team. You're driven by challenges and want to develop both within your profession and in municipal primary care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability with the ability to work with different specializations and in different groups according to the organization's needs. Conditions Swedish nursing license and several years of experience as a nurse required. Valid driver's license (manual transmission) is required, and you must be able to cycle. Two references, at least one of whom is a manager, to be provided at interview. In connection with potential employment, we request an extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register. A record may affect your employment eligibility.
