Description We're seeking a registered nurse for the Municipal Primary Healthcare unit to work within the residential care team. You'll be part of a team with nurses, as well as an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapist, physiotherapist, unit manager, care staff, and other professionals focused on patient safety and person-centered care. You have great opportunity to plan and structure your workday so it functions well for you, your patients, and colleagues. You'll be the responsible nurse at one of our centrally located residences in Sunne. Our residences are centrally located within walking and cycling distance, though other travel is by car. You'll work mostly daytime on weekdays and approximately every fifth weekend with flexible working hours. We offer individually adapted orientation, mentorship, and collegial supervision. We have varied, stimulating work with an open workplace climate where we support and help each other with challenging tasks. Responsibilities Your duties include coordinating and ensuring specific nursing interventions are planned, implemented, and evaluated, as well as educating, supervising, and delegating to care staff. You perform medical assessments, specific nursing interventions, and work on health promotion and prevention. The work involves independently or together with colleagues planning and following up nursing interventions. Systems supporting our work include digital signing lists and the Life Care HSL documentation system. Qualifications We're looking for a licensed registered nurse with commitment and interest in municipal primary healthcare with a focus on elderly and dementia care. It's advantageous if you have previous experience with similar tasks. You may have specialist training in district nursing, elderly care, or psychiatry. To succeed in this role, you work independently and take great personal responsibility in your profession as well as planning and follow-up of healthcare. You value teamwork highly and have strong interest in working with frail elderly, dementia, and palliative care. You are stable and flexible, have high sense of responsibility, and can work both independently and in a team. You're driven by challenges and want to develop both within your profession and in municipal primary healthcare. We place great emphasis on personal suitability with the ability to work across different specialties and with different groups based on operational needs. Terms Swedish nursing license and several years of experience as a registered nurse B driver's license (manual transmission) is required and you must be able to cycle. Two references, at least one supervisor, provided at interview. In connection with potential employment, we request a police clearance certificate.
