Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK) is the acute care hospital for northeastern Scania. Acute care is provided here 24/7 by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and sense of community of a smaller one. We are approximately 2,600 employees. The gastroenterology clinic is part of the medical operations area at CSK. Our staff consists of a well-functioning team of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Patients come to us who need endoscopic examinations such as gastro-, colo-, or bronchoscopy to examine and/or treat the stomach and intestines due to diagnosed disease. We also have patients receiving treatment for inflammatory bowel and liver diseases. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We welcome a nurse who wants to be part of our team! As a nurse at our clinic, you care for patients, assist the endoscopist, administer medications, and monitor and document the course of care. You also work with specimen collection, medication treatment, examination, and other treatments of patients with gastric, intestinal, and liver diseases. We also work extensively with medical technology equipment. With us, you work as a nurse both at the clinic, where you provide treatment to our patients with inflammatory bowel and liver diseases, and with endoscopy. In your role, you may be responsible for planning the day's schedule, including acute patients, as well as booking patients and providing telephone advice. We value professional development, so we have staff meetings every other week and training in current areas every other week. You'll receive an introduction tailored to your needs and previous experience. Working hours are daytime, Monday through Friday. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. It is an advantage for the position if you have experience from endoscopy and nursing clinics. We would like to see that you have an interest in inflammatory bowel and liver diseases as well as medical technology equipment.
