Description We are now seeking a licensed registered nurse for municipal health and healthcare services, preferably with specialist education in open healthcare (district nursing) or care of the elderly, but this is not a requirement. Our nurses work together in elderly care facilities, short-term stays, ordinary housing, and within disability services and mental health care. The person we're looking for will primarily work in home healthcare and in our special residential facilities. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. The work involves tasks such as acute and planned interventions, individual medical assessments, assessments of specific nursing care, and risk assessments and fall prevention. In addition to direct patient care, you also play an important role in collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists in multiprofessional teams as well as with nursing staff and physicians in primary care. The work also involves contact with external care providers, relatives, and patient representatives. Supervising students is also an important part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed registered nurse. We preferably want you to have specialist education in elderly care or district nursing. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You have good initiative and are good at thinking creatively. You have the ability to work independently while recognizing the importance of collaboration with different professional disciplines, where the patient themselves also plays an active role. Of course, you have good, respectful communication skills, are attentive, and open in your interactions with both those being cared for and their loved ones. You are good at collaborating and want to contribute to good communication and cooperation with colleagues and other stakeholders. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
