Here we work based on person-centered care (PCV) where we continuously focus on the patient's need for care, support, and information. We have a well-developed introduction program with training days and opportunities for personal development. Currently, we work on a schedule with duty 2 out of 5 weekends. WORK DUTIES In your work as a nurse, you are responsible for basic and specialized nursing care. You work close to patients and are responsible for patients where medical treatment with related examinations takes place in close collaboration with multiple professions such as nursing assistants, doctors, rehabilitation teams, coordinators, and contact persons for municipal/primary care. The department is equipped with monitoring systems for continuous registration of arrhythmias and ischemia. In your work, you deepen your knowledge of the heart's and lungs' circulation and how it affects patients. We care for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, as well as patients with lung disease who may need NIV and Optiflow. Patients requiring continuous blood pressure measurement (arterial pressure measurement) and those needing vasopressor/inotropic treatment are also on the department. The care we provide is, among other things, protocol-driven so we can initiate treatments independently directly after contact with a doctor. We are now starting to open a follow-up clinic for our cardiac patients who have recently been discharged from inpatient care. The patients who come here will largely be followed up by a nurse who performs predetermined orders and/or treatments. The work at the follow-up clinic is independent, but you always have a cardiologist to consult if needed. In Trelleborg, you have good opportunities to develop based on your own expertise. The position is a permanent employment with work during day and evening shifts, but there may also be an opportunity for some night shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and have the ability to handle and prioritize when the pace is high.
