About the Operation Would you like to join our team at the orthopedic department ward 41 at Mora Hospital? We are now recruiting two new nurses. The ward has 20 beds distributed across three care teams. We care for patients with acute injuries to the musculoskeletal system such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and trauma patients. We also perform planned prosthetic surgery on hips, knees, and shoulders. A distinguishing feature of the ward is that patients from other regions and countries are often cared for here due to the large influx of tourists in winter and summer in our catchment area. Job Responsibilities Unique to our team is that the nurses have extensive experience in the profession and within orthopedics, which means that new nurses joining us receive a secure introduction to nursing. The onboarding is individually tailored, and you will work alongside an experienced nurse after your introduction. Working as a nurse with us means independent, stimulating, and varied work. On the ward, we work with patient-centered care in a team with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We have an open and positive work environment with pleasant colleagues. The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend work.
