Registered Nurse

Description:

At Trelleborg, we work together for a growing successful municipality where life is good. Our 61 villages and 21 city districts are creative meeting places that bubble with life. Here we want things, we talk about them, and we come just as we are. This means we welcome others in the same generous and curious way. Welcome to join us on this journey! The Social Services Department's mission is to work with social services and provide support so that everyone in the municipality feels secure and has equal opportunities in life. We want everyone to be able to be active and involved in society. With a focus on respect for individuals' right to determine their own lives, we are responsible for three important areas: care and welfare services, support for people with disabilities, and assistance for individuals and families. Our goal is that everyone receives the support and care they need. Since everything Trelleborg Municipality does is based on our core values of openness, respect, and responsibility, it is important and essential that these values are just as natural for you as they are for us in our work. The Workplace We are looking for you to work as a registered nurse in Trelleborg Municipality. Our shared mission is divided into geographical areas that include assisted living facilities, support services for people with disabilities (LSS), and regular housing. Our office is located in central Trelleborg, where all nurses start their shifts. Proximity to coworkers contributes to good cohesion and a pleasant work environment. The work group represents broad expertise and a diversity of experiences. We tailor the introduction based on your experience and knowledge level as well as the organization's needs. We offer a secure introduction and continuous support from experienced colleagues. With us, you will have varied work with excellent opportunities to learn and develop in your professional role. You will become part of a workplace where your expertise is valued and where you have the opportunity to influence and contribute to better care. Job Responsibilities As a registered nurse, you are responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients within our organization. You work in a dynamic and supportive environment where patient wellbeing is central. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently as well as in a team – always with the patient in focus. As a nurse with us, you work in assisted living, regular housing, or LSS services. You perform assessments, plan and follow up on care interventions, and participate in daily patient care. You administer medications, document according to applicable guidelines, and collaborate with different professions to create safe and secure care. You also supervise care staff, with support from colleagues when needed. The work is varied, educational, and exciting, giving you the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team. If you would like deeper insight into what the work entails, you are welcome to contact the recruiting manager. You are also warmly welcome to observe us in action. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed registered nurse and hold a class B driver's license, as the work involves travel between different facilities. You have a good ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with others, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is a merit if you have experience working in assisted living, regular housing, LSS services, or other parts of the public sector. We are looking for you who are responsible, flexible, and have a positive attitude. You are solution-focused and demonstrate good conduct when meeting with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are engaged in your work and actively contribute to good cooperation and a well-functioning organization. This position offers opportunities for professional development and further education within the organization. The role requires flexibility and commitment to meet patients' needs and promote health and wellbeing. Work Schedule/Duration We are recruiting for 2 vacancies. In your application, please rank your interest in these positions: - 1 permanent full-time position, daytime schedule - 1 permanent full-time position, evening schedule Other Before receiving an employment offer, you must be able to provide an acceptable extract from the police criminal record register. Union contacts: www.trelleborg.se/facket Please note that we have removed the personal letter from the application process and replaced it with qualification and screening questions. This is for a more inclusive recruitment process and an efficient candidate experience as you apply for a job with us. Your answers will be an important part of our selection process. In preparing for this recruitment, Trelleborg Municipality has carefully considered recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore firmly decline contact from media sales representatives, job listing sites, and similar. Open to Everyone We focus on your skills, not your other circumstances. We are open to adapting the role or workplace to suit your needs.
