We have special expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or disruptive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs. Job Description Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the position of treatment pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and with being a support in everyday life. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You contribute to maintaining security according to our routines and you help ensure that everyday life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Contact person responsibilities are also one of your tasks. The work may also include being a mentor to new employees and interns. This is a job for you who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in a difficult life situation. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied. Qualifications To succeed in your work, you have a well-founded positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values, to be a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident in yourself and have an easy time creating relationships with young people as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You are good at collaborating with others and you can handle conflicts constructively. You should also have: A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we consider equivalent B-class driver's license Good Swedish in speech and writing At SiS, we value good co-worker relationships.
