As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and providing support in everyday life. With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our activities. You help ensure safety is maintained according to our procedures and you contribute to keeping daily life running smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Contact person responsibilities are also part of your duties. The work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. As a person, you are secure in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with young people as well as with others in the staff. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and you can handle conflicts constructively. You should also have: A diploma from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we assess as equivalent Class B driver's license Good Swedish in speech and writing At SiS, we value good cooperation.
