We have special expertise in receiving clients with mental health problems or challenging behavior. We have a mandate to provide care for clients with special care needs. Job Description Do you want to help create vital change for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that departmental routines function as they should. You play a major role in stability and security for our clients, and you are responsible for the basics of daily life such as cleaning and cooking. You help maintain order and safety at the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You work on building secure relationships and help ensure our clients receive the security they need to break established behavior patterns. Together with your team of engaged colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Working hours are scheduled, including days, evenings, and weekends. Qualifications Your personal suitability is the key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of people, great empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to cooperate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You must also have: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.* Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, such as in psychiatry, residential care, or health and social care.
