Company Presentation For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now seeking a Senior Process Engineer – Heat Pump for an assignment at their site in Finspång. The company is, thanks to its high-tech and innovative product development, an established partner within the energy sector that delivers advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs with excellent possibility for extension. Duties and Responsibilities We are seeking a highly experienced and structured senior process engineer who wants to take on a concrete, operational responsibility for completing and quality-assuring one of our ongoing projects within industrial heat pumps. The role suits you if you have solid technical composure, work methodically, and are driven by tying things together and maintaining a clear thread throughout the project's final phase. About the Role In this role, you step directly into an ongoing and complex project within heat pump technology. Your primary focus is hands-on completion, which means you review existing designs, identify any gaps, and ensure that all process and mechanical solutions align seamlessly with the contract and technical specifications. You will work with review, problem-solving, and completion of several key subsystems, such as refrigerant systems, lubricating oil systems, cooling systems, instrument air, and associated auxiliary and ancillary equipment such as detection systems. Because the project is in an intensive final phase, there are high demands on your ability to work focused under time pressure without losing structure. You work in close collaboration with project management, suppliers, and internal functions, and become the unifying technical force that ensures documentation, system design, and function maintain the right quality all the way to delivery. Your Responsibility Operationally drive and perform design work to complete and close open technical points in the project. Ensure a clear thread throughout the entire process and system design, including P&IDs, component selection, and piping systems for the included subsystems. Review, quality-assure, and structure technical documentation for final delivery. Work closely with the project's stakeholders to ensure that technical deliverables occur on schedule and according to established goals. Your Profile Who You Are We are looking for you who are a confident and senior engineer with many years of experience. You stand out through your calm and methodical approach, even when the pace around you is high. You are structured, have a sharp eye for detail, and have a natural ability to see the whole picture so that no technical aspect or interface falls through the cracks. You are an unpretentious team player who enjoys working hands-on to reach the common goal. Qualifications Engineering degree (bachelor's or master's degree) in mechanical engineering, energy engineering, or equivalent. Extensive and many years of experience (senior level) in process design, system design, and mechanical design. Experience in design and development of industrial auxiliary systems, where knowledge in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Refrigerant systems / Cooling Technology Lubricating Oil Systems Cooling Systems Instrument Air Package and Auxiliary Systems (e.g., Detection Skids) Documented experience of working in a structured manner to complete and finalize complex industrial projects. Very good ability to structure and quality-assure technical documentation and materials. Experience from the energy sector, process industry, or large-scale power plants is a requirement. Good knowledge of Swedish as well as good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. If you also speak German, that is desirable. Apply Today!
