Your Responsibilities As our operations grow, we need to strengthen our design capacity. In this role, you'll work with customer-specific mechanical designs in engineer-to-order (ETO), where each project contributes directly to our continued development. You're responsible for the entire chain – from concept and design to drawings and manufacturing documentation. The role involves both independent work and close collaboration in project teams, where you'll be an important part of meeting increasing order intake and shorter lead times. You'll be part of a design team of approximately 13 people and will also have the opportunity to contribute to global development initiatives. At the same time, you'll play a central role in streamlining and scaling our work methods, particularly in design automation with SolidWorks-DriveWorks. Your Main Responsibilities • Ensure complete and accurate manufacturing documentation for released designs • Deliver documentation according to set timelines in a growing and fast-paced environment • Optimize documentation to minimize disruptions in production and procurement • Communicate changes clearly to affected stakeholders • Actively drive the development and scaling of SolidWorks-DriveWorks (configuration, logic, templates, and work methods) Your Background/Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you have: • Technical college or university education, or alternatively CAD education at YH or equivalent • A strong interest in technology and solution-oriented drive • Good expertise in mechanical design and basic strength calculations • Experience with 3D CAD modeling • Meritorious: knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems • Meritorious: experience with design automation/configuration (e.g., SolidWorks-DriveWorks) and programming (VBA, C#, Python) • Good English skills Personal Qualities In a growing organization, the right attitude is crucial.
