We are looking for a senior design engineer to join our creative and wonderful engineering team! You will get to work with designs from concept to finished product. In your work, you will collaborate with leading vehicle manufacturers in Europe such as Volvo, Scania, MAN, BMW, and the VW Group. Development work at Klippan Safety will offer you great variety with interior products for their vehicles. Our philosophy is to exceed customer expectations in terms of innovation and cost level. ______________________________________________________________________ About the Position Your responsibilities will include: Full responsibility for systems, subsystems, and components in various development projects. Work with 3D and 2D modeling. Review and create technical reports. Act as one of the engineering department's mentors in concept studies and throughout the entire product development chain. Who Are You? We believe you have a technical education at university level or equivalent, preferably in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or product development. You have between 5–10 years of relevant work experience. Of course, you love technology and have a fundamental "how does it work" attitude. You have good analytical skills but are also excellent at communicating and explaining. We are looking for someone who many would describe as driven, organized, and creative. You are unpretentious and don't wait for instructions—you are self-motivated and take your own initiative. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. If you want to stand out a bit extra, knowledge of Polish and German would be advantageous. Nice to Have It is advantageous if, like us, you have experience in the automotive industry or industries with similar system requirements such as medical technology and telecommunications. Experience in the following is also advantageous: Catia V5 and Windchill. Various types of designs such as plastic, sheet metal, and welded constructions. Extruded profiles (aluminum, plastic).
