It's also great if you pick up new IT systems quickly. If you speak Finnish or Meänkieli, that's an extra plus. Requirements: — You must be at least 18 years old. — You need good command of the Swedish language. — For home care work, you need a B-category driver's license. Your Work Tasks: Which activities suit you? With us, you can work at elderly care facilities or in home care, but also at LSS residences or in personal assistance. The roles differ, so please indicate where you'd prefer to work as a temporary staff member. Elderly Care Facility: Our facilities house people who need support and care around the clock. This may involve physical impairments due to age or illness. You'll be part of a team with nursing assistants, nurse assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, with tasks suited to your competency level. There's often a great sense of community at the facilities with daily activities. Home Care: Your role is to support care recipients in living as independently as possible. The work takes place in the care recipient's own home. It's a coaching role with varied, free work and significant responsibility. You'll travel around Övertorneå by car. LSS Residence: Our facilities house people who need support and care around the clock. This may involve physical and/or mental functional variations. You'll be part of a team with supervisors, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, with tasks suited to your competency level. There's often a great sense of community at the facilities with daily activities. Personal Assistance: Your role is to support care recipients in living as independently as possible. The work takes place in the care recipient's own home. It's a coaching role with varied, free work and significant responsibility. A summer in elderly care and/or support services provides valuable experience regardless of your future plans. If you're studying a care program, you'll have the chance to practice patient interaction, hands-on care, and gain experience working with elderly people or individuals with functional variations. In many areas of healthcare, elderly people will be the largest patient group in the future. Your Work Hours There will be opportunities to work during all or part of the summer. With us, you'll work varying hours including days/evenings, nights, and weekends, depending on the activity. The variety means you'll also get to enjoy summer alongside your job. Employment Terms: This is for June-August 2026. The position is a temporary contract starting by agreement.
