You can work in residential care facilities, home care, group homes, short-term housing, or residential support. Your tasks involve helping individuals with daily activities, personal hygiene, medication, and more. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has completed a care and support program or other healthcare education such as care assistant training. We are also open to candidates with ongoing or completed education involving work with people, for example social worker, occupational therapist, physical therapist, psychologist, nurse, physician, or police officer. We believe it is advantageous if you have previous experience working in care and support. Knowledge or experience in sign language, autism, and Finnish can also be a merit. We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and who is positive when meeting people who need support and help. You are responsible and have great patience. It is also important that you are flexible, which for us means you can prioritize and quickly adapt your work when circumstances change. This may also mean you are comfortable working in different departments and units. You must be at least 18 years old. To work in home care, a Class B driver's license is required, and you must be prepared to take on medication delegation. In home care, you typically work alone and visit multiple clients during a day. Therefore, you need to be able to travel by bicycle and car. You need to have sufficient knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing so that you can communicate with clients, perform care documentation, and receive medication delegation.
