About the Unit The Aircraft Workshop performs rear aircraft maintenance on JAS 39 Gripen and other aircraft systems, and consists of a Planning & Logistics Section and three workshops: Aircraft Workshop, Special Workshop, and Safety Equipment Workshop. The Safety Equipment Workshop performs corrective and preventive maintenance on pilot equipment, as well as packing parachutes and maintaining emergency packs for JAS 39 aircraft. The staff consists of technicians with certifications in various areas. Main Responsibilities As Section Chief for the Safety Equipment Workshop at the Aircraft Workshop in Såtenäs, you will work to lead operations within the section/workshop together with the aircraft workshop management. You will participate in developing competencies, equipment, organization, and working methods. Further, you will be responsible for setting goals and monitoring results, as well as leading and developing subordinate personnel together with the Deputy Section Chief. You will also coordinate and prioritize resources within the section. Your work also includes maintaining a good physical standard, as the position requires good physical and mental capacity. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications At least upper secondary education with satisfactory grades and/or education and experience that the employer considers equivalent Good computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Driver's license class B minimum (manual transmission) Personal Qualities You are goal-oriented, structured, receptive, and have strong collaboration skills.
