As head of the section, you are responsible for the Avanleden, Röduppleden, and Bohedenleden routes with their associated ferries, ferry terminals, ice road maintenance, facilities, and personnel and work environment responsibility for approximately ten employees. You report to the district manager and are part of the district's management team consisting of another section manager, two district technicians, and the district manager. The position also includes budget responsibility for the section. We expect that in your leadership you uphold our values: reliable, engaged, courageous, and professional. Your task is to work with your team to make operations run as efficiently as possible and contribute to continuous improvement. Within the shipping company, we work in a process-oriented management system and we are certified according to several ISO standards. To support you in your daily work, you have your skilled colleagues and the central support functions available at the shipping company office. Qualifications As a manager at Trafikverket, you are driven by helping people grow through present-focused leadership. We are looking for someone who has post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience has experience as a manager with personnel and work environment responsibility and strong experience motivating and engaging employees has experience with budgeting, forecasts, and financial monitoring has a driver's license for a passenger car It is meritorious if you have experience from maritime operations or other transport and logistics activities have experience with maritime technology and vessel maintenance have experience managing personnel in around-the-clock, year-round operational activities We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
