Your Role We at the Communication Solutions division are now looking for a section manager for our operations in Arboga. As a section manager, you have operational responsibility, financial responsibility, and personnel responsibility for a section with 15-20 employees. The section is in an expansive phase and will grow in the future. You will lead a section consisting of design engineers and technical project managers in mechanics, electrical, and telecommunications. The main focus of the role is to develop and create design and system solutions within mechanics, electrical, and telecom based on project requirements and technical conditions. The role is responsible for ensuring that solutions are technically feasible and meet applicable specifications and quality requirements, and to drive the development of working methods, processes, and practices within the section. Our division, which is currently part of the Surveillance business area, consists of over 120 employees located in Arboga, Solna, Gothenburg, and Linköping. The operations specialize in integrating various system solutions for customers, both nationally and internationally. Today, the section consists only of employees based in Arboga. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering or equivalent experience from similar roles, as well as experience in management and leadership positions. As a person, you are solution-oriented and want to be part of developing our operations where you take responsibility for the section's continued growth and project commitments. You need to have a strong drive and commitment to developing operations and people. We see that as a leader you are flexible with high commitment to staff and projects. Having a high level of communication and collaboration is fundamental in our operations as we work with customer-tailored systems and must work cross-functionally between sections to achieve our goals and deliverables. Merits: Experience leading and directing development work Experience in operational development Experience from the defense industry or other technology sectors such as automotive or manufacturing industry The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations.
