We are now hiring an OT/SCADA Engineer for our HVDC team in Ludvika. As an OT/SCADA Engineer, you will work with design, configuration, and commissioning of control and monitoring systems in HVDC installations and test environments. You will ensure that communication, data collection, and monitoring function stably and securely in critical systems with high availability requirements. You will work closely with automation, network, and systems engineers as well as site teams on international projects, and see your solutions implemented in real installations. How You Will Contribute Design and configuration of SCADA and HMI systems Integration of OT systems with control and protection systems Configuration of communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC 101, IEC 104) Troubleshooting and verification in lab, workshop, and site environments Participation in tests, FAT/SAT, and commissioning Documentation of system solutions and configurations, and collaboration with network, automation, and systems engineers Your Background At least a university degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience from a comparable position Very strong communication skills Experience working with SCADA, DCS, or industrial control systems Solid understanding of OT environments and industrial communication Knowledge of IEC 61850, protection relays, or power systems Good English proficiency Meritorious Experience from the energy sector or critical infrastructure Experience in cybersecurity in OT environments Experience with site work and commissioning Swedish language skills What We Offer Collective agreement Flexible working hours Occupational health services and wellness allowance Fantastic career opportunities within Hitachi Energy in Sweden and globally Training and courses that support personal and professional development A diverse company with over 70+ nationalities represented in the Swedish organization Additional parental leave compensation Benefits portal with over one thousand perks and discounts About Us Ready for a new challenge?
