You will work as a coordinator for community organizations, culture, and recreation in Vellinge Municipality. The assignment is based on a preventive perspective in accordance with the new Social Services Act (SoL), with a focus on reaching young people early and in their own environments. You will be an important link in the municipality's comprehensive preventive work for young people. The position involves working at the intersection between culture and recreation activities such as libraries, culture schools and youth centers, and community organizations. You will work closely with staff from the social services preventive work and other municipal operations. This is a project-based position that ends on 2027-12-31. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS Culture and Recreation develops preventive work together with social services, focusing on young people and early interventions. This position is a central part of this work and involves a municipality-wide assignment. In the role, you will work with: • Preventive and outreach work throughout the municipality targeted at ages 13-25 • Presence at various venues where young people spend time, such as youth centers, culture schools, community organizations, and the municipality's collaboration forums • Being visible among young people and building trusting relationships in their everyday environments • Coordinating different activities and organizational boundaries to strengthen preventive work • Identifying needs, risk factors, and early signs in young people and contributing to coordinated interventions Collaboration with corresponding outreach functions within social services to ensure comprehensiveness and continuity in support for young people. The position is located within Culture and Recreation and involves close cooperation with other municipal operations. Evening and weekend work will occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a strong ability to build relationships and develop constructive and long-term collaborations with young people and community organizations. In your assignment, you view young people as important actors in the development of the activities, and you are skilled at motivating and engaging both young people and colleagues. You have: • Experience working with young people, preferably in an outreach or preventive context • Good understanding of young people's living conditions and risk and protective factors • Ability to work independently while collaborating across organizational boundaries • Good knowledge of culture and recreation activities • Experience working with community organizations • Relevant education for the position • Class B driver's license is desirable Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
