About Us Citizen Services is located in the entrance of the municipal building and offers comprehensive public services all under one roof. As a Citizen Service Representative, you are an important link between residents and the municipality. You meet people in different life situations and guide them correctly in their inquiries, whether it concerns contacts with authorities, public information, or municipal services. We provide citizens, visitors, and business owners with service that is fast, consistent, and maintains high quality. The position is placed within the Communications and Development Department, where you work together with colleagues to strengthen service, customer experience, and accessibility throughout the municipality. You become a central part of our work to develop Citizen Services and create a municipality where it is easy to get help. Your Role The daily work in Citizen Services involves receiving visitors and answering phones, as well as handling incoming inquiries and feedback through digital systems and email, among other channels. You provide answers directly or guide them to the right department. Citizen Services also provides internal service to municipal operations. In your role as a Citizen Service Representative, it is important to maintain good and constructive dialogue with departments to develop services for citizens. Together we make a difference for those we serve. As a member of the Citizen Services team, you are a generalist with good general knowledge and strong understanding of how a municipality functions. Citizen Services is also a distribution office for SITH cards (service ID) and collaborates with other public operations and authorities on various matters. Who Are You? You are positive, proactive, and express yourself well in both speech and writing. You enjoy working with people and providing service, and you place great emphasis on meeting visitors' needs. It is important that you have the desire to help others, are receptive and open-minded, and are able to adapt your working methods and communication. Collaboration among colleagues is very important. You are secure and stable and have the ability to handle stressful situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to work well with others. We are looking for someone with experience working in public service with a focus on customer service and information. It is advantageous if you have experience building or have otherwise worked in a contact center. You also have strong IT skills and are comfortable working in multiple systems simultaneously, and you use modern technology to search for and use information. Required Qualifications: Post-secondary education with work experience in customer service/customer contact that the employer deems relevant for the position. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English. Other languages are advantageous.
