Lycksele Parish is located in the heart of South Lapland. The EFS Association manages the parish's activities at Norrängskyrkan. The work team includes, in addition to the priest, a musician, EFS consultant, parish assistant, and parish educator. Beyond staff members, there are also volunteers in all church activities. The commitment from volunteers plays a central role, and the church strives to be an open church for people in the local area. Norrängskyrkan has a strong focus on children and youth through, among other things, the highly appreciated children's and youth choirs: Soul Kids, Soul Children, and Soul Teens. Around 90 singing-loving children and youth gather each week! The church regularly holds services and has appreciated meeting places in the form of Liten and stor, dagledigfika, and discussion evenings about faith and life. We are looking for you who are ordained for service within the Church of Sweden or EFS, have good knowledge of EFS, look forward to being part of shaping services and various meeting places, have good social skills and a desire to reach new people in all walks of life. To thrive in this work, you need to be comfortable leading both employees and volunteers and have the ability to encourage and inspire. The work includes services and church ceremonies, work with children and youth, discussion groups, participation in EFS board meetings and the cooperation committee. A wonderful place to live In Lycksele Parish, we are close to nature and there are several sports associations, schools, and a wide range of outdoor activities. There are good hunting and fishing areas. Norrängskyrkan is located in the Norräng residential area in Lycksele; close to the forest, river, disc golf course, gym, golf course, shops, school, and preschool.
