Your Role As a pipe fitter, your work involves maintenance and repair of vessels with high technical standards and complexity. The work is varied and provides excellent opportunities to develop your craftsmanship and professional expertise. Your tasks include: Fabrication of custom-made parts Maintenance work Renovation and reconstruction of naval surface vessels The work is performed both on board vessels and in the workshop. Domestic travel may occur. Your Profile To be eligible for this role, you have: Training in plumbing or welding Experience and knowledge of TIG and soldering methods Several years of experience in the field The position requires that you can express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and have at least a Class B driver's license. Merits for the position include: Lift certification and experience operating lifts Experience with overhead crane, forklift, and mobile platform work, heavy lifting operations Experience machining materials including drilling, turning, milling, and threading To fit in at Saab Muskö, it is important that you have the right attitude, strong drive, and desire to develop. Working hours are daytime with shifts possible. The position requires that you undergo and receive clearance according to current security regulations.
