Don't hesitate to apply – we interview candidates on an ongoing basis! Job Description As a robot welder, you monitor and operate welding robots, including positioning parts in fixtures and running robotic programs. You're responsible for setting up the robotic cell according to the production plan, monitoring the welding process, and making adjustments as needed to ensure high quality welds. Your tasks also include manual welding when necessary (MIG/MAG) for tasks such as spot welding or finishing work on larger components. You perform self-inspection of the welds and ensure they meet the client's quality standards. Reading drawings and understanding welding symbols are important aspects, both for interpreting instructions and for basic robotic programming. The role may also include maintenance of the robotic cell and collaboration with production technicians to optimize welding processes. What We're Looking For * Practical welding experience with MIG/MAG. You are a certified MIG/MAG welder with a valid welder certification according to ISO 9606-1 (steel). * Robotic welding experience: You have previously worked as a robot operator, or alternatively as an advanced machine operator with welding skills. You understand how a robotic cell functions, can handle programming or adaptation of robotic programs at a basic level, and have an interest in industrial automation. * Drawing interpretation and technical knowledge: Ability to read and work from welding drawings (including welding symbols) and work instructions. Technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are important for handling the robot's settings and resolving any operational issues. * Material and quality knowledge: Experience working with heavy steel materials and understanding of welding parameters for thicker materials. You are quality-conscious and experienced in performing visual inspections of welds. * Language: You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with colleagues and follow safety procedures. Meritorious: * Robotic systems knowledge: Experience with specific robotic systems is highly desirable – for example, programming or courses in robotic technology. * Broad welding competency: Knowledge of manual welding using multiple methods (such as TIG or MMA) and understanding of industrial automation processes. * Handling heavy components: Overhead crane and forklift certification is appreciated as the work involves larger components that require movement with lifting equipment. * Education: Industrial technical education, preferably with a focus on welding/automation.
